Despite the highly contentious nature of the workers struggle and the unwillingness of the university administration to modify their relationship with Sodexho, these vulnerable workers continue to stand together in the face of retaliation. The Progressive Faculty Group at UCD are urging our colleagues to take a small step to show that we stand with the worker by endorsing the report: From the Shadows: How University of California Davis Contracting-Out Fosters Worker Poverty.

As a faculty we are ashamed that our administration is on the wrong side of the battle. We ask our colleagues and all other members of the community to stand with the workers.
