Mission Statement

The Progressive Faculty Group at U.C. Davis works to advance economic and social justice on the campus, in the United States, and globally. In our intellectual work and advocacy, we challenge ideologies, rhetoric and arguments that legitimize injustice and intimidation. We have organized to hold the university to its highest standards--academic freedom, full and free debate on even the most controversial questions, and acting towards all members of our community with fairness and respect.
